We had a packed house last Wednesday for our toddler/preschooler story time! Nicetown's Children's Librarian knows how to keep a room full of kids engaged and excited. Story times are on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. throughout the remainder of summer reading, and the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesdays during the rest of the year year. Groups are welcome with advance notice. Have you heard about Philly Free Streets? Come out and play on car-free North Broad Street, between City Hall and Erie Avenue, on Saturday, August 11 from 8AM to 1PM!

Join us for family-friendly, people-powered fun and experience Philly streets in a new way! Walk, bike, and play on an 8-mile round trip route of car-free North Broad. People of all ages and physical abilities are invited. There is no formal start or stop—join the fun anywhere along the route. Participants are encouraged to arrive by foot, bike, or SEPTA.

1).For starters, MMBL, the adult basketball league, started on Monday, 6/18. Games will be played from 6-9 PM on Monday-Thursday evenings until 8/9.

2) The pool opens on Friday, 6/29.
