In October 2017, Mural Arts completed "We The People," a series of six murals that celebrate the best of the American spirit while also reflecting widespread social and cultural issues and the current state of the nation. Seen here is "A Daughter Migrates Towards the Mother Earth" by JESS X SNOW, which speaks to the movement of immigration and the way that it intersects with family experience. See it in-person at 2800 D Street and head over to bit.ly/MAPWeThePeople to view the other five poignant installations. (Photo: Steve Weinik)
