Get ready to #getnerdy! Next Tuesday, April 24th, we’re hosting Science After School, in conjunction with the Philadelphia Science Festival. The event runs from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. and will have fun, hands-on science-themed presentations from the Academy of Natural Sciences, Center for Aquatic Sciences at Adventure Aquarium, AnimaLearn, and the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education. The Free Library system will be closed on Wednesday, April 18 for staff development. Normal hours will resume on Thursday, April 19.

We had a good work day Saturday. We moved the sign forward. (It was getting crowded by the bush) Cleared the flower beds and started work on the new plots for free vegetables.
We still have spaces available for next week's cooking demonstration, call today to register!

Thanks to everyone how came out to our first workday of the season. We were able to clean out our tool bin and clean up around the garden. We'll be buying some new tools for the season.

Ms. Aleks and the kids in the library’s LEAP after school program have been busy today- in honor of Pi day, they made this paper chain. Each color represents a number, and the order of the colors here correspond to the digits of Pi!
