Neighbors: THIS IS ILLEGAL. Actually several aspects of this story indicate illegality. If you are a renter your landlord MUST have and be able to show you a rental license. If they don't have one, you do not have to pay rent AND they may owe you back rent. Furthermore, evictions must go through a legal process, landlords can not force evictions without doing so.
