An iconic water tower in Kensington in the shape of a milk bottle and a stately brick firehouse in South Philly were among the five properties added to the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places last week. The Philadelphia Historical Commission voted to designate five very different buildings as historic, which means that any exterior changes would have to be approved by the commission.

Friends Of Hackett added 2 new photos.

This is so wonderful we had to share! Yesterday, Beca Lufi, a Hackett parent and Temple math instructor, started an enrichment math center in Ms Barca's Kindergarten class room! She will come in to the class every 2 weeks and use an array of problem solving techniques to help children think about and work through math problems. If you are a parent at Hackett (or not!) and you have a skill or background that you would like to share with the Hackett school then reach out to us!
