Don’t forget 4/16/18 is the last day to register to vote in the May primary. We had two speakers last night focused on the importance of voting. On the ballot are nominees for Governor, LT Governor, Senator, Congress, State Rep, State Senator, Committee person along with several ballot questions. We are in a new Congressional District this year PA3 which encompasses all of West Phila and North West Phila. As the primary approaches we will post information to keep you informed. http://www.philly.com/philly/columnists/solomon_jones/voting-rights-ballot-race-20180411.html

Voting is the crux of change | Solomon Jones - Philly
I don't vote because people died 50 years ago to secure my right to the ballot. I vote because people are dying right now. I vote because systems of oppression speak loudest when their victims are silent. I vote because the fight for equal rights is ongoing.
