Great Job Kyle Shenandoah!!.... Recruiting more than 50 city employers and agencies, like SEPTA and PECO, featuring nearly a 100 job offers, Shenandoah says the upcoming event hopes to reach as many South Philly residents as possible. From the University of Penn to the Urban League of Philadelphia, close to a dozen organizational partnerships from around the city are working to make the fair a reality. https://southphillyreview.com/second-annual-career-fair-in-grays-ferry-set-for-june-2-7e96be7de448

Second annual career fair in Grays Ferry set for June 2
While teaching first and second grade, Grays Ferry Civic Association Vice President Kyle Shenandoah conducted an experiment to maintain order in the rowdy classroom. Assigning students various tasks, like sharpening pencils or attending to the bathroom, he noticed a shift in their behavior - a correlation, he'd come to realize, that also exists in his backyard.

Citizen of the Week: Kyle Shenandoah - The Philadelphia Citizen
Shortly after President Trump's 2016 election, Kyle Shenandoah, a Forgotten Bottom resident, had a life-altering realization. A tax specialist at H&R Block, the 29-year-old had never been politically active; he didn't have a background in law or policy, and figured that disqualified him from really getting involved.

Recycle bins

Why is it that the city wants us to recycle but if you go to get a recycle bin you are only allowed one? And you must show ID to even get that one! It doesn’t make sense to me. I haven’t seen any of the ones with a lid anywhere either. Id like to have that so that your recycled property isn’t blowing all over the streets.
