Mark your calendars for the 29th annual Landscape Design Symposium at Montgomery County Community College! This two-day symposium on January 11th and 12th explores a core challenge of contemporary landscape design: blending plants, wildlife, and people in spaces that advance ecological function and are enjoyable to be in. While the destination is clear, the route is complex and ill-defined or nonexistent. Learn from real world experiences of a select group of landscape architects and designers who are successfully navigating this challenge. For more information and to register: http://bit.ly/2Ab5HC0.

🍁The Jenks Playground Friends of the Children's Park looks incredible thanks to the new local Wissahickon mulch & all our parent and community volunteers! It's amazing what we were able to accomplish in just a few hours!! ⭐️We had a ton of Weavers Way Co-op members receive 3 hours of service, Chris from Backyard Eats brought tools, and the kids who helped were such hard workers! ☕️🍴Oh, and everyone was full of coffee and breakfast provided by Friends of the Children's Park! 🌳Looking forward to the large Wissahickon wood chip delivery in the spring! #jsjenks #sustainable
