It was extremely disappointing to see people climbing our Christmas tree in Marconi Plaza on Eagles parade day. It was completely irresponsible to climb a tree that cannot support the weight of people on its branches and, parents, you should be ashamed of yourself for encouraging your children to do this. We had a wonderful Christmas celebration in December with this tree and we hope that the neighborhood appreciates our efforts to promote a warm community spirit.
After starting off at the Lincoln Financial Field stadium at Broad Street and Pattison Avenue, the parade travelled north until it reached Benjamin Franklin Parkway. From there, it continued until the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where thousands of attendees were packed together, elbow-to-elbow.

Several hundred thousand people at least jammed the five-mile parade route, from Broad and Pattison streets to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and ending with a rally at the Art Museum. The city has not provided a crowd count.
The parade, which started at Broad Street and Pattison Avenue and ended at the art museum, also saw an impressive turnout, hundreds of thousands of people in attendance.
