We are currently experiencing limited services with regards to our OPAC system. At the moment, we cannot renew materials, look up library card accounts, or check items in. If you are planning to visit us today, please be aware of this. While we are checking materials out manually, you must have your library card with you, and limit your checkouts to five items or less. Thank you for your cooperation.

    Fox Chase Library
The Fox Chase area was originally settled by Swedes who sailed up the Pennypack Creek around 1645 and built a blockhouse as protection against the Lenni Lenape Indians. English colonists later took over the settlement and the blockhouse, which became part of a large country residence named the Ury House.

This month, we are celebrating Native American Heritage Month, and the unique contributions to children's books made by Native/First Nations authors and illustrators. When you were little, do you remember the happiness you felt while smelling fresh bread? When seeing the face of someone you love? When dancing or playing a drum?
