And now, the moment we've all been waiting for: the lineup announcement for MOONLIGHT MOVIES 2018! A big thanks to all of you who voted - Black Panther garnered a whopping 86% of votes, so we're saving that for the Friday night finale on the big lawn at New Covenant Campus. (It may or may not have influenced this year's poster design too.) Other Friday locations include Lovett Park and Pleasant Playground. All Saturday nights, as usual, will be hosted by Trolley Car Diner, so bring your sweet tooth, the ice cream shop WILL be open. Each Friday, bring the kids at 6:30pm for story time and book swap. We'll also have two food trucks at each Friday showing, a sweet and a savory. Stay tuned here for each week's details. Rodent droppings in kid's classrooms close Philadelphia care centers - Philly
In this Clean Plates edition, there was moldy food, rusty food slicer blades, rodent contaminated cat food bags and a men's restroom without a door. But what was really disgusting was the number of cases of mice and rat droppings that were found in children's classrooms and restrooms. Philadelphia food inspectors temporarily closed 34 facilities between April 1 and April 13.

JULIUS CAESAR (Quintessence): Why must republics fall?

[Sedgwick Theater, 7137 Germantown Ave.] March 21-April 28, 2018; quintessencetheatre.org/julius-caesar/

JULIUS CAESAR (Quintessence): Why must republics fall?
Was Brutus an honorable man? The debate was a common rhetorical device in 16th-century schools, and Shakespeare uses this familiar conflict to frame his JULIUS CAESAR, now in production by Quintessence Theatre Group. The play is set in the final death throes of the Roman Republic.
