I had my first behind-the-scenes experience at McDonald's this morning, thanks to Pastor John Dawkins, his daughter, Danielle, and the staff at their Broad and Allegheny location. Being a franchise owner is another form of small business that many overlook. I'm grateful to have been given an exciting, firsthand look at the daily operations and even got to make a Filet-O-Fish!

Rodent droppings in kid's classrooms close Philadelphia care centers - Philly
In this Clean Plates edition, there was moldy food, rusty food slicer blades, rodent contaminated cat food bags and a men's restroom without a door. But what was really disgusting was the number of cases of mice and rat droppings that were found in children's classrooms and restrooms. Philadelphia food inspectors temporarily closed 34 facilities between April 1 and April 13.
