Mending the music

1101 W. Montgomery Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19122

    Mending the music
Studies show that early exposure to music can help children achieve academically. So when Temple Contemporary's director Robert Blackson and assistant director Sarah Biemiller, happened upon a storehouse in South Philadelphia full of broken pianos from the Philadelphia School District, they were taken aback by the untapped potential.

Where to donate your Thanksgiving leftovers in Philly
Taking stock of your kitchen the morning after Thanksgiving can feel worthy of battle training. Dishes are one thing, but figuring out how to store all the leftovers is a tougher feat. Do you pull the turkey off the bone for sandwich-making ease or leave it whole?
