Wynnefield Branch (Free Library of Philadelph...

We are looking forward to a very busy day on Thursday, April 19th. We have three great events for you to enjoy! We will start our morning off with a very special One Book Every Young Child Storytime at 10:30 am featuring the book, "My Cousin MoMo." We will give out a free book to families attending and will have fun with activities from the OBEYC Traveling Trunk. At 3:30 to 5:30 in our lobby, come by and participate in the Friends of Wynnefield Library Book and Bake Sale. There will be great books and delicious treats to buy for a great price. At 4 pm, representatives from PGW will be here as guests for our monthly Ready Community meeting sponsored by the Office of Emergency Management. Come out and ask questions and receive vital information. Hope to see you on April 19th!!

Tomorrow, April 18, all Free Library of Phila...

Tomorrow, April 18, all Free Library of Phila locations will be closed for our Annual All Staff Day. Wynnefield Library will reopen on Thursday, April 19 at our regular time of 10 am.

We had such a wonderful time on Saturday, Apr...

We had such a wonderful time on Saturday, April 7 at our first and hopefully annual if not more often All Fiber Arts event. Thanks to the wonderful efforts of Frances Conwell and Ethel Funches. We had over 65 participants looming, crocheting, knitting, bracelet making, and having glorious fun!

Wynnefield Annual Cleanup moved to April 14, 2018 due to severe weather

Good Day Wynnefield neighbors. Due to severe weather, the Wynnefield Annual Spring Cleanup has been cancelled and moved to Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 9 until 11:30 a.m. Please make a note, spread the word to your neighbors and we'll see you on Saturday, April 14th.

We are so excited about our first and hopeful...

We are so excited about our first and hopefully annual All Day Fiber Arts event at Wynnefield Library this Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm, sponsored by Sisters Interacting Through Stitches. We will have several craft stations throughout the library for children, teens and adults to enjoy!

Special RCO meeting to discuss 2 zoning variance requests

Attached are the minutes from a public meeting, hosted by HMC Squared on Thursday, February 15th to discuss the zoning application for 4938 Lancaster Avenue and 1540 N 62nd Street. The community voted to support both requests. I just noticed that I never posted the meeting notes, so here they are!
