For people who takes snow measurements the proper way of doing it is on a hard surface or a designated snowboard. If you measure on the grass you’re always going to have some air pockets underneath. As of this writing (10:30am) my snow total is 6.5 inches. But I also took a measurement on the lawn and you can see the disparity.❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

Good Tuesday evening NWS Mount Holly FB follo...

Good Tuesday evening NWS Mount Holly FB followers and visitors to NJ DE e Pa and E MD. Our 930 PM forecast wont make any changes to the advisory warning configuration but amounts are trimmed slightly, maybe by an inch or so. The bulk of the snow near and north of I-78 will occur between 11 PM and 7 AM, while to the south of I-78, generally between 3 AM and 9 AM. Just about everyone in E PA and much of northern and western NJ should wake up to snow cover. Plan on extra time to reach your destination overnight and Wednesday morning. Please leave your snow total reports with this post. Attached is the new snow forecast prepared at 930 PM this Tuesday eve.

Another cold night on tap tonight with wind chills as low as 10 below in the Poconos, otherwise in the single digits. Some light snow and/or flurries with no snow accumulations are possible Monday morning across the Delmarva, southeast PA, and southern NJ. Stay warm! Next chances for snow to occur are Tuesday and Tuesday night, and there still is the potential for snow late Wednesday. After that, there looks to be a warmup into next weekend with temperatures gradually rising to above normal levels!
