FYI- Inquiry Charter School's application pro...

FYI- Inquiry Charter School's application process is open until March 10th (it's K4-5th grade). My daughter is in the K4 class there this year and we've been very happy with it. The K4 class is for students that will be 4 and a half years old by Sept. 1st. This K4 option has been great for us because our daughter was really ready for school but just missed the Kind cutoff. Many free preK options are income-based, but not this one. I also like that the K4 class is totally integrated into the rest of the school (shared recess, weekly school-wide meetings, before/after care). As a charter, it is a free public school accepting students from all over Philly. It is located right near the Please Touch Museum. They have a low cost before and afterschool program that is optional, but ideal for working parents. The school promotes their values: Curiosity, Generosity, and Growth. If you or someone you know is looking for a school - especially for K4 (preK) or Kindergarten, I would recommend checking them out. The application is simply a form on their website: http://www.belmontcharternetwork.org/ics/

Originally from Liberia, the two sisters behind Nafisa's Kitchen have been working with the Welcoming Center's Global Enterprise Hub since 2017. Our team has been helping them with their business strategy development, use of technology (point of sales system and digital marketing), as well as help with accessing grants to improve their business. In November 2017, they moved from their home kitchen to establishing a restaurant on 5629 Chester Ave. This Sunday, Feb 25 at 2 p.m., Nafisa's Kitchen will be hosting Eat Up The Borders, one of the winning teams from our Young Entrepreneur Leadership Network (#YELN) program. Tickets are on sale now! https://www.eventbrite.com/e/eat-up-the-borders-nafisas-kitchen-tickets-42958754792 #SmallBusiness #Entrepreneurship #Philadelphia #Philly

Black Panther is one of the most important cultural moments in American history
As you all already know, Black Panther set all types of records this past weekend, not just for Black films, and Black directors, and Black casts, and Black film crews...not just for all superhero films (although it did break several records for every superhero movie ever made), but Black Panther actually set several records for any film ever made.

After learning that a satellite that's been silent for decades has suddenly started sending out new signals you may, of course, suspect that the device has been hijacked by aliens now trying to communicate with Earth. Perhaps they're warning us that they are planning an invasion!
