Cobbs Creek Neighbors shared Brooklyn Defende...

In the last general election Philadelphia elected a new District Attorney that ran on a platform of ending mass incarceration and more appropriately sentencing crimes ("the time should fit the crime"), among other things. But that doesn't mean we can just sit back and rest. We also elect judges, many of whom will be on the bench for their entire careers. So if you or someone you love has ever had to face a judge this is a good time to start familiarizing yourself with people who could determine your fate or the fate of your families. We have another obligation to cast a ballot on May 15th and there are only a few days left to register so you can #VOTE in that election. On May 15th we will choose candidates for some of the following seats (these vary around PA). Then we will vote again in the November primary to elect: U.S. Senate ✓ U.S. House ✓ Congress special election ✓ Governor ✓ Lt. Governor ✓ State Senate ✓ State House ✓ Special State Legislative ✓ State Supreme Court — Intermediate appellate courts — Local Judges — Municipal Government — Ballot Measures — Local Ballot Measures #VOTE #VOTE #VOTE #VOTE #VOTE #VOTE #VOTE #VOTE #VOTE
