There is still time to see the Philadelphia Assembled exhibition before it comes to a close on December 10th at the Philadelphia Museum of Art! Philadelphia Assembled tells a story of active resistance and radical community building through the personal and collective narratives that make up Philadelphia’s changing urban fabric. These narratives will be explored through a collaborative effort between the Philadelphia Museum of Art and a team of individuals, collectives, and organizations as they experiment with multiple methodologies for amplifying and connecting relationships in Philadelphia’s transforming landscape. For more information:

Initiated by artist Jeanne van Heeswijk, together with a collaborative team of artists, makers, storytellers, gardeners, healers, activists, Museum staff and community members, Philadelphia Assembled explores social issues that resonate in "The City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection."

Cret Exhibition Captures Vibrations Of The City
Editor's note: Architectural drawing is a dying art. Before the digital revolution gave birth to drafting software, renderings of buildings, bridges, barrel vaults, and bell towers were meticulously illustrated by hand. And although most of the technical work done for architectural and engineering firms in the past left no room for emotion or expression, a human touch, and a physical object, remained.
