Sharing an invitation from our friends from the Pennsylvania Treasury Department. If you plan to attend, please email us at efepa@efepa.org: Please join us at 10 a.m. July 18 at SpArc (2350 West Westmoreland Street in Philadelphia) when staff from the Pennsylvania Treasury Department will present an overview of PA ABLE. The PA ABLE Savings Program (PA ABLE) helps people with disabilities (eligible Individuals) save money for a wide range of qualified disability expenses without jeopardizing government benefits. Plus, savings benefit from several tax advantages. You may choose to direct your contributions to one or any combination of seven investment options offered by the PA ABLE Savings Program. Six are Asset-Allocation Options with varying blends of stocks, bonds, and cash – with the combinations ranging from conservative to aggressive. The seventh is an FDIC-insured interest-bearing checking account with a debit card provided through Fifth Third Bank. To learn more about the features and benefits of the Pennsylvania ABLE Savings Program and to read the disclosure statement, visit PAABLE.gov
