Early afternoon weather update: A band of moderate rain with a few rumbles of thunder is pushing out of southeastern PA and making its way through central and southern NJ and the northern half of Delmarva. This activity will continue over the next few hours before weakening and pushing offshore. There will remain a slight chance of showers through the evening, especially in areas that clear out quickly this afternoon.

Long period swells from Subtropical Storm Beryl will continue to reach the coast of Delaware and New Jersey on Sunday. As a result, there will again be a moderate risk for the development of dangerous rip currents. If you will be at the shore on Sunday, follow the advice of local beach patrols. Do not swim in the ocean unless a life guard is present.
