Eric Murphy's "Thoughts from the Trails - Crossing River Jordan" explores the scenery of Shenandoah National Park and the journey enslaved people took through this land while seeking freedom. At the focal point of Historic Strawberry Mansion's Lewis Parlor is a gorgeous ornamental mantel, designed by Robert Wellford in 1798. Hand-applied plaster and gesso decorative work surround the mantel's King of Prussia marble, quarried just outside of Philadelphia. #ParkCharms
