During our community session with the Philade...

During our community session with the Philadelphia Parking Authority, every resident from the community will get an opportunity to sit with a representative from the Philadelphia Parking Authority to ask questions and address their concerns as well. They will have laptops on hand so that they can look up your information as well. At the conclusion of this session, the community will come together at a later date to create some reforms for Parking Authority that we will send to the Mayor, City Council, and the Philadelphia Parking Authority. This will be a community-driven Initiative. I honestly believe that the Philadelphia Parking Authority has contributed to the high poverty rate here in Philadelphia and it must be addressed. See you guys on Tuesday.

Point Breeze Community Development Corporatio...

Please consider helping our neighbors at Miriam Medical Clinics- South Philadelphia Community Health Clinic out Monday 1/22/18 at 6:30pm while they present to the Point Breeze Community Development Coalition's Community Zoning Meeting. Miriam is applying for a variance to zoning code to open a free, community health clinic at 2006 Tasker Street. The clinic's architects, Via Laulima, LLC, live in the neighborhood, and are super excited to present the plans to the community. The clinic's board are heavily invested in Point Breeze, and are mostly members of Tasker Street Missionary Baptist Church. Once open, nearly all of the clinic's clinical volunteers will come from neighbors in a diverse array of medical professions giving back to our community through free pediatric, primary care and women's health care services! If you're a medical provider, especially in Peds or Women's Health, and interested in volunteering, please reach out to Charlie Michael or Miriam Medical Clinics!
