East Point Breeze Neighbors, along with several dozen other Civics in town are gearing up to get the PHS : Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Fall Street Trees in the ground this coming Saturday, November 18. We're looking for about 6-8 volunteers to help dig the holes, stick 'em in, and get them good and staked. We've got the supplies, we just need yer muscles. You would need to be available from 9-noon. There's even a post-tree Pizza Party at Brewery ARS, hosted by our friends at Newbold CDC. Either send us a message, or email clean@epbneighbors.org if you're interested. AND! The time has come to apply for next year's trees. Police Service Areas are community-police partnerships focused on bridging the community gaps to address quality of life and public safety issues with social services, community, civic organizations and police supoprt. 17th District Police Service Area (PSA) 3: Takes place on the third Thursday of each month, meeting at 1327 S. 19th Street (Gospel Temple Baptist Church) at 6PM. The PSA 3 is a subset of the 17th District police area, covering Federal Street to Moore Street and Broad Street to 25th Street.
