A little snow can't stop the Philadelphia High School Debate League finals...TAKE 3! Guest speaker will be Mayor's Office of Education, Chief Officer of Education, Otis Hackney at 5PM! The official reschedule date for ASAP Debate League Finals is April 4th at Central High School (1700 W. Olney Ave.) The topic will be, "Resolved: On balance, the current authorization of use of military force gives too much power to the president." Students have participated in weekly matches since November, covering some of the most relevant, controversial topics in the current political arena, such as U.S. military spending, Plan Columbia and the U.S. Cuban embargo.
