Would you like to participate in an Emergency Preparedness Training at the library? See below for info (2-sessions, Jan 29 and 30).

    Events: Everybody Ready 3.0 | Personal Preparedness Training
    Prepare your family and neighbors for potential public health emergencies. This 2-hour, interactive training is offered by the Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH) Bioterrorism Public Health (BT) Preparedness Program. Each individual who completes the training will receive a certificate of completion, a mini preparedness kit and Everybody Ready handbooks to share with neighbors, family and friends.

    Kinsey announces $1.8 million grant to help continue redevelopment of Logan Triangle
    HARRISBURG, Nov. 14 - State Rep. Stephen Kinsey, D-Phila., today announced that a $1.8 million grant has been awarded to help continue funding the redevelopment of Logan Triangle. The Commonwealth Financing Authority's Multimodal Transportation Fund Program authorized the grant, which will help transform the blighted neighborhood east of North Broad Street into a vibrant commercial and community redevelopment.
