Open House: AAMP Residency for Art and Social Change Thursday, March 15, 2018 | 6 - 8 pm Rush Arts Philadelphia 4954 Old York Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Free and open to the public! On Thursday, March 15, you're invited to join the African American Museum in Philadelphia at Rush Arts Philadelphia in Logan, as we launch our latest initiative, the AAMP Residency for Art and Social Change. Funded by The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, this project seeks to advance the work of emerging Black artists from the Philadelphia region, while also supporting the revitalization of Philadelphia’s Logan neighborhood through the arts. Come out to Rush Arts Philadelphia and hear more about the museum's Residency for Art and Social Change, and our year-long calendar of exhibitions and programs. The March 15th Open House will also be the first opportunity to meet the inaugural resident artists and learn more about their experience and work.
