This article has 4 other Philadelphia locations (Show)

    Philly Guy Gift Guide 2017
The holidays are here! It feels like just yesterday we were sweating in 80 degree weather (probably because it wasn't actually that long ago), but I've been embracing the chill and pulling out my cutest layers and dark lip colors this fall. I love love love putting together these gift guides .

I am looking for 25 brothers that would be willing to take 25 at-risk young males to the 76'ers game from your community.I will provide the tickets, but the young men must be in middle school or high school and they cannot be related to you.The purpose of this is to step outside of our circle and invest in the young men in our community that are on the wrong path. The catch is you must continue to mentor them beyond the game. I would never ask someone to do something that I'm not willing to do, so I am going to select a kid as well. We have to start from somewhere. The game is Wednesday and it's on a first come basis.Men our young brothers need us.Each man must select one kid.

10 Essential Bakeries for Bread in Philadelphia
Alongside legendary Philly stalwarts like Sarcone's and Kaplan's, new bread bakeries are popping up like so many brioche buns left to proof. If the humble loaf is in retreat nationally from the double-whammy of carb-phobia and gluten intolerance, Philadelphia shows little sign of retreat.

Exile for 18 months, then back home to South Philly

Read about the future of Theatre Exile and our plans for a new space on 13th and Reed!

Quick, creative thinking saved the day. If all papers get signed, as Block expected them to by Friday, July 28, Theatre Exile will be in exile only 18 months or so and can then move back to its digs at 1340 S. 13th St.

This article has 2 other Philadelphia locations (Show)

Saying the lease gets signed, Theatre Exile moves to offices at Our Lady of Mount Carmel at 2319 S. Third. Rocky country, yes, but it’s also quite the South Philly fine-arts office park down there, with 1812 Productions, 11th Hour Theatre Company, and the Leah Stine Dance Company as cotenants.

And Theatre Exile’s temporary yurt, or theater, will be (at least for the 2017-2018 season) the Latvian Society of Philadelphia at 531 N. Seventh St., where EgoPo and other nimble outfits often perform.

Exile for 18 months, then back home to South Philly
Read about the future of Theatre Exile and our plans for a new space on 13th and Reed! It has been a stressful year for Theatre Exile, a year in the life of one of Philly's vigorous, agile neighborhood theaters. As A.D.
