Philadelphia Streets Dept has moved from a sa...

Philadelphia Streets Dept has moved from a salting operation to begin plowing over 2,500 miles of roads in the city. Please allow them room on roads, give space on corners to turn, and don't shovel snow back into streets. Learn more from Streets Department⬇️ http://www.philadelphiastreets.com/highways/snow/

    Philadelphia Streets:
Our Highway Unit is the primary response team during snow and ice events. One of the major challenges the unit incurs is snow being shoveled back into plowed streets after city teams clear the street. This practice is not only illegal, it's a hazard to drivers and pedestrians.
