    Southeast Pennsylvania's first medical marijuana dispensary opened its doors Friday in an old Dairy Queen building in Devon, Chester County. Doctors at Keystone Shops were ready to see patients with an appointment - and one of 17 conditions the state deems eligible for the therapy.

Glory Beer Bar & Kitchen (126 Chestnut St., Old City): David Crudele, a longtime bartender at the now-shuttered Eulogy Belgian Tavern, sets up a beer bar with 36 on tap and an American menu featuring roasted meats in the former Mad River/ Middle East restaurant space (January).

Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft (29 E. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore): Cocktail bar in the heart of Ardmore.

The Bercy (7 E. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore): French brasserie from Lansdale’s Stove & Tap crew in the gorgeous Main Line building last housing Primavera Pizza Kitchen. (March)
