What used to be McDonalds, across from the Transportation Center, is now a vacant storefront.    The word on the street is the loiterers have relocated.

    We were able to get one bed of cucumbers set up the evening of June 12th and we had a great time in the process! We plan to set up another bed and do some transplanting again next Tuesday at 6 pm.

Christine Tartaglione’s 2nd District and from throughout the Philadelphia region will have a chance to comment publicly on PECO Energy’s latest proposed rate increase during a Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission hearing on June 14 at 6 p.m. at Kingdom Life Christian Center, also known as the Devon Theater, in the Mayfair section of Northeast Philadelphia.

Memorial Day 2018 in Frankford

Monday, May 28th, Keep the Faith in Frankford and friends will gather in the cemetery at St. Joachim Church (Griscom and Church Streets) for a brief ceremony to remember those Frankford residents who died in the service of their country.  It is not to glorify war but to acknowledge their service.
