Sexual Assault Awareness Month #SAAM may “technically” over, however, WOAR’s outreach team captured a remarkable project at Philadelphia Prevention Partnership. This project was created last month to raise awareness about the people who have been affected by sexual violence in the community. Each Teal Ribbon represents a person who has been affected by Sexual Abuse. These brave #WOARRIORS came forward and said, “#MeToo, I have been affected by sexual abuse.” Many people wonders What’s Next? What’s Next after #MeToo or Sexual Assault Awareness Month? Philadelphia Prevention Partnership took the next step and now is offering workshops in partnership with WOAR this month. If you are interested in attending their next workshop “Community in the NO on Sexual Violence” happening on May 31st, 2018 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at 1628 Church Street contact Carmen at 215-613-7014 to register. How can we create a Safe City here in Philadelphia? By partnering with the community, local organizations and companies who see the same Vision as we do!!! Learn how you can become a #WOARRIOR by signing up for our newsletter. Text WOAR to #22828 or visit www.woar.org now!!!
