Riverfront North Master Plan Update Riverfront North Partnership has announced a round of public meetings this month to seek input from community members regarding an update to the organization’s master plan. Meetings are scheduled for the following times and locations: Holmesburg Recreation Center (4500 Rhawn St, Philadelphia, PA 19136) 6/12/18 5:30-7:30; Bridesburg Recreation Center (4601 Richmond St, Philadelphia, PA 19137) 6/13/18 6pm - 8pm. Riverfront North seeks input from area residents and greenway users to help steer the focus of the organization for the next 10-20 years. The two public meetings will be an open-house format, with graphics and large maps explaining upcoming and existing projects, programing and plans to community members.There will be physical and virtual maps for participants to immerse themselves in the geography of Riverfront North. Assisting Riverfront North for this master plan update is a consultant team led by Philadelphia planning and design firm, NV5. Updated information regarding this project can be found at riverfrontnorth.org/masterplan as it is released. Philly Fishing on the Delaware Celebrate Father's Day weekend with family and friends for a fun and relaxing fishing derby! Join Riverfront North Partnership and Tacony's Sportmaster Bait & Tackle on Saturday morning, June 16th from 7am - 11am at the Frankford Boat Launch. This is a catch and release event, land fishing only. No entry fee. Prizes available for: most fish, largest fish, smallest fish, as well as first and last catch. All ages welcome. Riverfront North Partnership will host and help kick off the first meeting on Wednesday, May 2nd at 5:30pm. We’ll meet outside of the Frankford Boat Launch garage/office building (located behind the Dietz and Watson plant), the address of the access road to get there is about 5650 Tacony Street. There is also access via the K&T Trail if you are coming from Lardner’s Point park (a little under 1 mile walk).

Join us for the city-wide initiative to keep the city clean as we beautify Pulaski Park and the Port Richmond Trail, planting new flowers, remove invasive species and more. Register For The Event Bikes, Beans, & Beers Saturday, April 14th, 10am Meet at Palmer Park (Fishtown) Bikes, Beans & Beers is a fun and casual biking/coffee tasting/social event. Our group bicycle ride starts in Fishtown at Palmer Park and heads north along portions of the North Delaware Riverfront Greenway. The group pauses in a park for a coffee tasting from local providers and we then head to a local pub for lunch and drinks.
