Philadelphia's new postmaster hears irate residents' complaints

Another complaint: long lines at the post office at 7th and Thompson streets.

Philadelphia's new postmaster hears irate residents' complaints
There have been a myriad of recent complaints regarding mail delivery in some parts of Philadelphia - so many in fact that the city's newly appointed postmaster wanted to meet with the public personally. It was standing room only at the Northern Liberties Community Center Thursday night, where residents got a chance to be heard by Philadelphia Postmaster Michael Hernandez.

The Clay Studio is moving from its longtime Old City home - Philly
Two years ago, it became clear to Michael Lukasek, the chair of the Clay Studio, that the mecca for aspiring and experienced potters badly needed an expansion. The studio, which was founded in 1974 by five artists, had grown from serving a small group of potters to providing services for over 35,000 people on an annual basis.
