Why the 1700 Addison lights are shining even brighter this holiday season

Where to eat latkes in and around Center City
You can almost never go wrong with fried potatoes. French fries, home fries, hash browns, tots, potato chips - every variation is good. But there's something about the Jewish potato pancake traditionally enjoyed during the Festival of Lights that's extra satisfying.

For the second year in a row, QVNA is hosting a comprehensive leaf clean up in the neighborhood. Crews began removing leaves from streets and sidewalks on December 4 and will continue through December 15. This helps to keep our neighborhood clean through the Winter months and into the Spring. The clean up is scheduled for all blocks that have a significant amount of leaves on the ground, but if your block is missed and it has a lot of leaves to remove, let us know by emailing info@QVNA.org and we will try to include it!

QV's very own Hungry Pigeon getting great reviews on breakfast options and more!

Hungry Pigeon serves comfort plates with a cheffy twist
It can sometimes take a few chapters in a chef's career before he can build the restaurant of his dreams. In the case of the Hungry Pigeon, it is a pair of veteran chefs who are responsible for the irrepressibly quirky, handcrafted character that has made this hybrid cafe-resto-bar such a lovable, all-day fixture on Fabric Row.

Fascinating story about a house everyone in Q...

Fascinating story about a house everyone in QV has seen... Staying a single family home apparently.

A rare Queen Village mansion eludes redevelopment, will remain a home
Despite Queen Village's heightened attractiveness in recent years, the rare estate-like property at 113-21 Bainbridge Street, owned by Philadelphia's Steen family, could not sell three years ago. But when it was put on the auction block earlier this year, it drew interest from developers, builders, and residents alike.
