Did you know that before they set-up shop in an old elevator factory in Olde City, The Painted Bride started in a small store front on South Street. That early set-up which included a mirage of artist congregating on South St. is what lead to Isaiah Zagar being commissioned for the full-building mosaic on their Old City building years later and is even more reason why we’d like to see this work stick around to be enjoyed for years to come. If you’re interested in the future of The Painted Bride building come out to the historical designation hearing this Wednesday June 20 at 9:30 am 1515 Arch Street, Room 18-029
