On behalf of Unity in the Community , we would like to say thank you for attending our Senior Event today. If I tried to name each and every person that played a part in making this event happen today , I'd be forgetting someone and I don't want any trouble. With that being said I have to S/O our partners: Diversified Community Services , Epic Stakeholders , Rainbow , Vette team , Senior Homes , DJ Caution and last but not least , Keystone for making a generous donation. If I had a stage I would let you guys perform because you rock...That was corny , but I appreciate everything! I would like to send a big thank you to my Unity in the Community team as well. Team work makes the dream work

A couple of days ago these young men were fighting and beefing with one another at school and on social media , because they represent different areas. One of the things that we realized is that as , we must create a fun atmosphere for these young men to engage and get to know one another outside of school.Simon and I had a great follow up meeting with the boys today and we will be attending the 76'ers game tomorrow with all of the young men . This is only the first step in building a positive relationship between these young men , so that they can get to know one another outside of their enviorment. #communitybuilding

Everyone I would like to introduce you to Mr.Leroy.Someone from Facebook emailed us and nominated Mr.Leroy for our Operation Holiday Help initiative two years ago.Mr.Leroy is the father of two kids that he raise by himself and five months before Christmas , Mr.Leroy was diagnosed with cancer , which prohibited him from working.Due to his illness , Mr.Leroy was unable to provide Christmas for his two kids.On Christmas Eve , we surprised Mr.Leroy and his two kids at their home with food baskets and Christmas gifts for the entire family.Mr.Leroy was in a state of disbelief and the tears were rolling down his face.To some people this may be something small , but to Mr.Leroy this meant everything to his familyIf you would like to donate or get involved log onto our website www.unityinthecommunity215.com or email us at info@unityinthecommunity215.com !
