8-06.1.1 (A): Liquid waste not disposed of properly: Liquid waste is not disposed of properly, documentation of oil disposal could not be provided at time of inspection.
9-02.1: Employee hands not washed before food handling: Employee hands are not washed prior to food handling activities, due to no handsoap or papertowels at hand sink in food prep area, at time of re-inspection. Management instructed to initiate immediate corrective action.
10-02.2 (A): Multi-use utensils not properly cleaned, sanitized: Multi-use utensils are not properly cleaned and sanitized, at time of re- inspection no sanitizer was present in food prep area. Also noted employee working in food prep area (Mr. Cruz) demonstrated sanitation procedures, the procedures and sanitizers used were incorrect. Proper wash, rinse, and sanitizing procedures were explained (by sanitarian) at time of re-inspection. Use commercial CLOROX as a sanitizer. Management instructed to initiate immediate corrective action.
11-03.0: Equipment design does not preclude food contamination: Equipment design does not preclude food contamination, provide splashguards between the hand and 3 - basin sink. Management instructed to initiate immediate corrective action.
19-01.1: Food safety certified individual not present: Food establishment personnel food safety certified individual is not present, at time of inspection food safety certified person was not present. NOTE: At time of re-inspection sanitarian spoke with employee and informed him that the food safety certified person must be present AT ALL TIMES, also noted at time of re-inspection a serv safe was provided for Miss Maria Cruz, she was instructed that her serv safe is not valid and that she must obtain a valid city food safety certificate. Information regarding food safety certification was explained to Mr. Alberto Cruz in which he translated the information to Miss Maria Cruz (at time of re-inspection). Management instructed to initiate immediate corrective action.
