About public works agendas
Summary
In this section of EveryBlock, we publish addresses and locations found in agenda items for the Public Property and Public Works committee of Philadelphia's city council. Here, you can find out when the committee plans public hearings to discuss city property or buildings near you.
In the hearings, committee members consider what action, if any, should be taken for each agenda item — and the discussions are open to the public. Note that this committee doesn't consider matters relating to city parks.

The data comes from the Meetings Calendar published by the city council. This list includes agendas for the Public Property and Public Works committee.
Agendas are posted to the calendar before meetings. We at EveryBlock monitor the calendar and add items as soon as we're able.
How can I learn more about the city council?
The council publishes the Rules for the Government of the Council of the City of Philadelphia that cover meeting rules, committee structure, consideration of bills, and so on.
Philadelphia has a lookup tool where you can enter your address and find out who represents you on the council.
See Hallwatch for an index of hearings for all city council committees going back to November 2001.
