  He was found with a gunshot wound to the neck in a yard in the 2700 block of Daly Terrace around 7:30 p.m., police said. He had been shot nearby in the 2200 block of South 27th Street.

• 24th Street and Snyder Avenue Firefighter injured responding to call in S. Phila.

  The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. at 24th Street and Snyder Avenue in South Philadelphia, authorities said. The firefighter, who was not named, was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with unspecified injuries. He was reported in stable condition.

  The victim, 17-year-old Rahfeak Griggs (spelling unconfirmed), of the 2200 block of McKean Street, died of a single gunshot wound to the chest.  Detectives believe the body was transported to the area where it was found and dumped from a passing car.
