In the first case, James King, 33, of Lindenwood Street near Arch in West Philadelphia, was charged with murder in the Dec. 16, 2004, death of Raymond Thomas, 24, of Hazel Avenue near Salford Street in West Philly, said Officer Rafeeq Strickland, a police spokesman.
