Police say 52-year-old David Timbers, of the 3700 block of Haverford Avenue, surrendered yesterday evening to authorities and was charged with aggravated assault and related offenses (see related story and video).

Timbers, of the 3700 block of Haverford Avenue, was arraigned at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday on several charges including aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person, according to court documents.

Timbers, 52, of the 3700 block of Haverford Avenue, surrendered at Police Headquarters Monday, and was charged this morning.

Police say it happened May 8th at about 11 a.m. inside the Fresh Donuts store in the 3900 block of Lancaster Avenue in West Philadelphia.

At one point, the suspect, who is identified as 52-year-old David Timbers of the 3700 block of Haverford Avenue, is heard yelling, “Miss, I paid you for my sandwich. I don’t need $2.25 or whatever you’re charging me, $2.40.”

Timbers, of Haverford Avenue near 37th Street, was not home when cops stopped by Friday, and was labeled a fugitive, police said.

Police say it happened Tuesday at around 11 a.m. inside the Fresh Donuts store in the 3900 block of Lancaster Avenue in West Philadelphia.

Carbonara was on patrol May 8 when he saw a man fitting the description of the robber coming out of the Super Deli located at 415 N. 34th St.

Lancaster Avenue near Sloan Street

Authorities say at about 11:05 a.m., a man inside the Fresh Donuts store in the 3900 block of Lancaster Avenue got into an argument with an employee regarding payment for his order.

It happened Tuesday at 11:05 a.m. at the Fresh Donuts store at 3914 Lancaster Avenue in West Philadelphia.

Torin Myer, of Baring Street near 39th in West Philadelphia’s Powelton section, was stopped and questioned Tuesday by Drexel University police because he fit the description of a man shown in a surveillance video fleeing the scene of one of the recent robberies, cops said.

Torin Myer, 23, of 3900 Baring Street, first struck the Green Line Cafe on Lancaster Avenue on April 26th at 9:35 p.m. and demanded money from the employees. On April 30th at 4:29 p.m. and again on May 4th at 5:30 p.m., Myer returned and again robbed the Green Line.
