Does anyone know what the story is with the parking lots at the end of the 1200 block of Webster, right next to 13th street? Is there a way to get a permit to park there? Thanks for any advice!

Neighbor introductions in and around Center City
Hello Center City East area folks! I know that a number of new neighbors have joined the site since we started sponsoring the Headhouse farmers' market, so I just wanted to start a discussion thread for people to say hello and introduce themselves (and you don't have to be new to EveryBlock to join the conversation).
Feel free to share anything from how long you've been in the neighborhood, what you most like about living in the area, or even...

Feel free to share anything from how long you've been in the neighborhood, what you most like about living in the area, or even the types of neighborhood projects or activities you'd be willing to volunteer for in case someone could use your help.
So don't be shy! I look forward to getting to know you all better, while you make your block a better place :)

Fighting between young girls on Kater St
Last night around 1AM, two girls between the ages of 17-19 were seen and heard fighting near 13th and Kater all the way to 13th and Bainbridge, near Gennaro's Pizza. They were screaming and engaging in physical violence, fighting, pulling hair, kicking, etc. The two were a couple fighting over something that sounded like a social issue in their group of friends. 911 was called out of concern for the two girls who both seemed to be sustaining injuries from eachother.
