We have thousands of pieces of news on EveryBlock, which means you have thousands of chances to give your 2 cents and discuss what's happening near you. Our comment feature can help you stay in touch with your community, e.g. talking about the recent crime wave, the new coffee shop on the corner or EveryBlock announcements made by your neighbors.
To start commenting, become a registered user and then enter your comment on the same page as the original news item. The comment will be published on all nearby block pages, relevant neighborhood and ZIP code pages.

The comments come from registered EveryBlock users. You can comment in the "Have something to add? Post a comment" field for individual news items.
What else should I know about comments on EveryBlock?
To keep a conversation healthy, we have a couple of rules for what can be posted as a comment. We prohibit hateful or libelous content and information that is off-topic. Our policy on user submissions fully explains our rules.
Note that you'll need an EveryBlock account to make comments. To create an account, click the "register" link on the upper right of any EveryBlock page. After you provide your e-mail address, you'll have to click through a verification e-mail and set a password.
