What has happened to the mailboxes in our area.....were they removed for a purpose....vandalized....seems to be an unsolved mystery as well as a major inconvience to our neighborhood. Can anyone shed some light on this recent quality of life proplem?

yes, I was wondrint that also. The mail box at Pennway and Tyson is gone, but there is now one at Whitaker and Tyson and I don't remember one being there before?

I'm in Lawncrest. Two mailboxes were removed from within 2 blocks of my home. They were removed because there was no "huge activity" to those specific boxes. In plain english, the more boxes the drivers went to that did not have a lot of mail, were abolished. With so many people using the computer to pay their bills, the snail mail is slowly being pushed to the curb. The removal was cost effective.
